Overview
The course for obtaining the Private Pilot License PPL(A) EASA allows exercising the functions of pilot in command or co-pilot, without being remunerated, on private aircraft for which one holds the qualification, engaged in non-commercial operations; it is structured according to what is provided for by the European regulation Part FCL EASA. Pre-Admission Requirements
Pilots applying for admission to the PPL (A) course must meet the following requirements: be at least 16 years old; possess a first or second class medical fitness obtained at the forensic medical institute. Additionally, access to the final exam for obtaining the PPL (A) license requires meeting the following requirements: completed theoretical instruction and passed the ministerial examination; completed a minimum activity of 45 hours of flight; be at least 17 years old.
Theoretical Course
The program includes 100 hours of theoretical instruction, including intermediate exams, distributed in the following subjects according to Part FCL 215 regulations:
• Air Law
• Aircraft General Knowledge
• Flight Performance and Planning
• Human Factors
• Meteorology
• Air Navigation
• Operational Procedures
• Principles of Flight
• Radiocommunications
Days and times scheduled for classes:
The theory course takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Aeroclub headquarters, with a final exam consisting of multiple-choice questions. Practical flight lessons will be individually booked and planned with the instructor.
Practical Course
The program involves not less than 45 hours of flight distributed in 5 phases.
